“The LCDVF BM5 from Kinotehnik is absolutely superb…
Can’t recommend the product enough. Shooting outdoors is now a joy.

It’s connected to the camera magnetically. It comes with a couple of metal frames which you can attach to a camera and/or to a monitor. Then the eyepiece just clips on. The magnets are strong – its not going to fall off.

There is a standard 46mm thread on the eye-piece so if, like me, your eye-sight is no longer perfect you can add a diopter lens to compensate. I bought a +2 lens on Amazon for $8 (£6/€7) – perfect. I don’t need my glasses now.
I spoke briefly to the guys in Estonia who make this thing – really helpful bunch who shipped the product at no additional charge the day after I bought it – it arrived in the UK the next day.

I now have one of the frames on my BMPCC 4K and the other on an Andycine monitor that I attach to my Ronin SC gimbal – ideal.. works beautifully.
